Rutland Fireplace Patch

Fireplace Patch is one of our best muli-purpose cements and is very easy to use. Just add water, mix and you are ready to repair cracks, fill holes, or missing firebrick chips indoors or outside. You can even fix large missing pieces or cracks because it can be applied thicker than most high-temp cements. It can be used to replace mortar joints that are falling out in everything from your stove or fireplace to your fire pit in the back yard. Once it has dried and cured it can withstand heat up to 2,200 degrees F and will be as strong as the firebrick surrounding it. Fireplace Patch is a coarse cement best for larger holes and cracks. For smaller cracks use Rutland Fireplace Mortar.
